Occasionally, the restaurant experiences peak times that lead to crowded conditions, particularly on Sundays at 6 PM. Some diners may find the wait frustrating if they arrive during these busy hours, despite the fast turnover. A few patrons mentioned that while they love the food, the casual dining environment might not suit everyone, especially for those looking for a more upscale dining experience. Lastly, on busier days, some seats may feel cramped, which could detract from a relaxed meal.
The food is soooo good and the portions are really generous! My family and I stopped here today for some dinner. Really the Hong Kong traditional beef noodle very lovely, French Toast was tasty, and we didn't wait long considering it's a Thursday evening. There is a small car park nearby(Spring Vale). Will definitely go back!
What an excellent find and definitely worth it. The beef noodle soup was amazing - very generous portion, flavours were delicious and the beef + noodles were cooked amazingly. The staff also offered their homemade chilli which is a definite must if you want a bit of extra spice to the meal. Highly recommend the black tea with lemon too. Staff were incredibly friendly! Definitely going to come back
Loved the food here! I had the mixed grill with rice (combo with fried chicken leg, pork chop, fish fillet and two eggs with Hong Kong style black pepper sauce). It is absolutely delicious. The chicken leg was crispy and tender, the sauce was rich and peppery, and the portion was huge. Proper Hong Kong comfort food in Stockport. Can’t wait to come back!
